The present research deals with Mediation Sessions in a Virtual Environment, especially in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. It is worth noting the escalation of the importance of self-composition methods, as a result of the recognition that self-composition methods are appropriate techniques for resolving disputes, to the point of gaining great relevance in the new Civil Procedure Code - Law No. 13.105/2015. The advent of the Covid-19 pandemic ends up impacting the self-compositional forms of conflict resolution, since social isolation has been imposed, and therefore face-to-face meetings are impossible due to public health. Thus, the question arises about the role of the judiciary in the promotion of self-compositional methods in the virtual environment in order to solve the problem presented. In order to carry out the research, the research methodology is used, it is a theoretical research that uses the legal-projective type, based on a bibliographic review of the doctrine, jurisprudence and legislation related to the theme. It is concluded that the adoption of technologies in order to provide the possibility of virtual meetings only partially solves the problem, since not everyone has access to these technological resources, so there is still a need to implement material means so that the hyposufficient parties are entitled to such access
