Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotization in the Brazilian Judiciary, highlighting the ethical, technical, and legal challenges involved in this process of technological transformation. Aiming to critically analyze the impacts and implications of adopting these tools, the study employs a literature review methodology, encompassing academic works, legislation, and regulatory resolutions. The research addresses central topics such as algorithmic bias, data privacy and protection within the context of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), algorithmic accountability and transparency, as well as regional inequalities and ethical issues related to the humanization of Justice. Real-world cases, such as the Victor System of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and the Elis robot of the Pernambuco State Court (TJPE), illustrate the optimization potential and the practical challenges faced. The study concludes that, although AI offers opportunities for a faster and more efficient justice system, its implementation requires ethical regulation, the training of legal professionals, and attention to technological disparities.
