About the Journal

Mission and scope: The mission of Revista de Direito Magis is to create a free online repository of academic articles. In this way, promoting its dissemination and maximizing the dialogue between researchers from national and foreign institutions in matters related to its editorial line: Social Sciences in Contemporary Society. To this end, the Revista de Direito Magis brings together articles, academic works, opinions, comments on jurisprudence, bibliographic reviews, in Portuguese and in foreign languages, selected by the double blind system, in order to provide the academic community with a scientific-legal repository that offer critical and constructive analysis beyond the mere state of the art.

Flow of receiving articles: The Revista de Direito Magis receives articles in a continuous flow. The texts are evaluated by the double blind system and, if accepted for publication, will be published, in a continuous act, in the corresponding current edition.

Frequency: The Revista de Direito Magis organizes its publications in twelve-monthly (annual) volumes. The volumes are published before the approval of the articles of each number, at the beginning of their periodicity and, with the acceptance of the texts, they are respectively published.

* In the first year of the journal (2022), two volumes of the Revista de Direito Magis were published, exceptionally.

* The physical edition of Revista de Direito Magis is published and sold at cost through the Amazon platform in partnership with AGEJ - Associação Guimarães de Estudos Jurídicos and N-Hub Soluções Digitais. Physical editions can be divided into volumes, depending on the feasibility of publishing with more or less pages.

Editorial line: The Revista de Direito Magis publishes critical, constructive and prospective analyzes focused on the subject of Social Sciences in Contemporary Society.

Open access policy: Access to the full content of the Revista de Direito Magis is free of charge. The submission of articles to the journal is also free, and there are no fees for analysis and publication.

Publishing flow: The call for articles from the Revista de Direito Magis is permanently open. Works can be submitted for review and possible publication at any time.

Publication policy: The editorial board of Revista de Direito Magis is not responsible for the opinions expressed in the articles, which are the responsibility of their authors.

Upon submission, the author must inform if there is a conflict of interest in relation to the research. Any funding related in any way to the work submitted to the journal must be informed.

The author must be aware that, if the article requires approval by the ethics committee, he must inform the approval protocol, attaching the respective opinion.

The patrimonial rights on the work belong to the author(s) of the same. The publication of an article by the journal implies, on the part of the author, the free transfer of its publication. For this reason, the works sent for evaluation must be original and cannot be pending evaluation or publication in another vehicle.

The identification of a possible hypothesis of plagiarism will lead to the immediate disqualification of the work for publication, without prejudice to other legally applicable measures.

Publication ethics and misconduct policy: This journal adopts the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) ethics and misconduct policy. If the editors of this journal become aware of any allegation of wrongful research conduct, or if any person feels offended or has any of their rights violated by a work submitted to this journal, immediate action will be taken, including (but not limited to) suspension. publication until further clarification and possible permanent exclusion from publication. Any author is free to withdraw or correct his articles when necessary, as well as to publish clarifications, retractions or apologies when necessary.

Anti-plagiarism policy: Revista de Direito Magis is categorically positioned against all types of plagiarism and self-plagiarism in academic research.
